Stewardship 2020, both the regular June event and the Meadow Creek Project in September were a huge success thanks to all the volunteers that turned out. Once again we partnered witih The Ghost Community and RMDRA. Crew #1 was in charge of cleaning drainage areas, brush on or adjacent to the trail on Cow lake trail. Crew #2 was working on the connector from Lost Knife to Lesueur to ensure sustainablility until we can get in there with equipment to either reroute or permanent repair. Crew #3 was trash duty and I have to say this was the cleanest year yet, keep it up and pack out what you pack in. The Meadow Creek Project was funded by The Alberta Conservation Association and our Volunteer hours, it was a major projectd in that we closed down access to the Valley, opened up and cut a new trail and did sustainable work on a link to a legal trail. Partners in this project was Alberta Environment & Parks, Trout Unlimited, AOHVA , Canlin Energy, Ghost Watershed Alliance, Spray Lake Sawmills and of course our Valued Volunteers. For the complete review of the Project go to our Newsletter section and click on 2020 December. Again, Thank you to our sponsors and Volunteers.
