2017 was an interesting year, we have the new park down south with limited riding and more changes to come. CARA started communication with Environment and Parks early in the year and stayed in touch leading up to our stewardship days in June. There was also an opportunity to apply for a $5000.00 grant from the 150 year fund of which we were successfull in getting rewarded with the grant, we used it to start the process and clean up the back side of Lecheure trail. We repaired a bridge on Lost Knife, did bioengeering work near the Fallen Timber campground, performed a clean up with the South Ghost Community on Transalta Road as well as some regular maintenance. Thank you for all the volunteers, in total we had 45 volunteers that put in over 620 hours of hard work. We supplied a BBQ on Saturday night which was a great event to sit back, relax, disucss some of the work we performed and how we can do more work. There were plenty more pictures that showed alot of great work, but only had room for so many. Keep in mind, these may load a bit slower depending on the level of your internet and computer.
